One of our favourite singer/songwriter’s returns to us after a bloody excellent show in October where the jam-packed room was buzzing with energy. Brilliantly insightful and ironically optimistic lyrics, combining love, life and politics; he never fails to get the room singing along to his catchy melodies – expect lots of laughter and dancing!
He’s had a tremendous year, which has included touring the length and width of the UK and venturing into Europe under the wing of his new manager. This is his first London show of 2013
Main Support from:
GAZ BROOKFIELD; gruff & gristly folk artist hailing from Bristol who has kept his nose to the grind stone for quite some time.
He’s recently been on tour with the The Levellers and is releasing what appears to be a ‘Bill Hicks’ inspired Xmas single, ‘Diet Of Banality’ available from the 16th of December 2012, his aim is simple – take mediocrity and clichés out of the music industry and fill it with real musicians, real talent and real songs.
We’re honoured to have him on the bill.
JOEL WILLIAMSON; relatively unheard of in the local music scene, Joel is guaranteed to silence a room full of people, no matter how inebriated they may be with minimal effort.
His talent puts him up there with the best.
ROB THE LIAR; a man with a fake middle-class accent and a cheap guitar. He can’t sing so he uses his mouth to make clever little noises about his life. He means to continue doing this until he doesn’t need to any more.
AND OPENING THE NIGHT…
CHARLIE LAW; “bloody fab he is”.
